- Canticle: Magnificat in D - J. Pachelbel, 1653-1706
Magnificat anima mea Dominum. Et exultavit spiritus meus in Deo salutari meo.
My soul dothmagnify the Lord and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.
Quia respexit humilitatem ancillae suae For he hath regarded the lowlinessof his handmaiden.
Ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent omnes generationes. For behold, fromhenceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
Quia fecit mihi magna, qui potens est et sanctum nomen eius. For he that is mighty hathmagnified me and holy is his Name.
Et misericordia eius, a progenie et progenies timentibus eum. And his mercy is on themthat fear him throughout all generations.
Fecit potentiam in brachio suo dispersit superbos mente cordis sui.
He hath shownstrength with his arm he hath scattered the proud in the imagination oftheir hearts.
Deposuit potentes de sede et exaltavit humiles. He hath put down the mighty fromtheir seat and hath exalted the humble and meek.
Esurientes implevit bonis et divites dimisit inanes. He hath filled the hungry withgood things and the rich he hath sent empty away.
Suscepit Israel puerum suum recordatus misericordiae suae. He remembering his mercy hathhelped his servant Israel;
Sicut locutus est ad patres nostros Abraham, et semini eius in saecula. As he promisedto our forefathers, Abraham and his seed forever.
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto, Glory be to the Father and to the Son and tothe Holy Ghost;
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
As it was in thebeginning, is now, and ever shall be, forevermore. Amen. - Luke 1:46-55 - Kyrie, Lord's Prayer

Scripture
John 20:24-29 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!" Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing." And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
