I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.
The right hand of the Lord is exalted, the right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
I shall not die, but live, and tell of the works of the Lord. Glory be to the Father… - Psalm 46

- With a Voice of Singing M. Shaw, (1875-1958)
With a voice of singing declare ye this, And let it be heard, Alleluia!
Utter it even unto the ends of the earth. The Lord hath delivered His people, Alleluia!
O be joyful in God, all ye lands. O sing praises to the honor of His name, Make His praise to be glorious. Isaiah 48:20; Ps. 66:1,2 - Hymn 251: 3,4 And Were the World With Devils Filled
- Psalm 23 F. P. Schubert, 1820
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He feedeth me in pastures green
He leadeth me beside still waters.
He shall restore my soul and bring me forth in paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through death's dark shadowed vale,
Yet will I fear no evil; thy rod and staff comfort me.
Thou hast prepared a table for me against them that trouble me,
Thou hast anointed my head with oil, and my cup shall be full.
Thy kindness and thy mercy shall ever follow me;
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forevermore. - Lesson: I Corinthians 1: 18-25
- And Can It Be? D. Forrest
And can it be that I should gain an interest in the Savior's blood?
Died He for me who caused His pain? For me who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be that Thou my God, shouldst die for me?
He left His Father's throne above, so free, so infinite His grace;
Emptied Himself of all but love, and bled for Adam's helpless race;
'Tis mercy all, immense and free; For, O my God, it found out me.
No condemnation now I dread; Jesus and all in Him is mine!
Alive in Him, my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine,
Bold I approach the eternal throne, and claim the crown through Christ my own.
Amazing love, how can it be that Thou, my God shouldst die for me?
C. Wesley, 1738 - Hymn 426:1-3,6,8 Jesus Sinners Doth Receive
- We Give Thanks to the Son M. Archer, 2010
We give thanks to the Son, the image of the invisible God, The firstborn of all creation; For in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, Things visible and invisible, all things have been created, through him and for him. He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together. The beginning, the firstborn from the dead, So that he might come to have first place in everything. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell. Amen. Col. 1:15-19 - Lesson: Galatians 4:4-7

- Canticle: Te Deum Laudamus in B-flat Opus 10 C. V. Stanford, 1879
We praise Thee, O God, we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.
All the earth doth worship Thee, the Father everlasting.
To Thee all Angels cry aloud, the heavens and all the powers therein.
To Thee Cherubim and Seraphim continually do cry,
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Sabaoth;
Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty of Thy glory.
The glorious company of the Apostles praise Thee.
The goodly fellowship of the Prophets praise Thee.
The noble army of Martyrs praise Thee.
The holy Church throughout all the world doth acknowledge Thee;
The Father of an infinite Majesty;
Thine honourable, true and only Son;
Also the Holy Ghost the Comforter.
Thou art the King of glory, O Christ.
Thou art the everlasting Son of the Father.
When Thou tookest upon Thee to deliver Man,
Thou didst not abhor the Virgin's womb.
When Thou hadst overcome the sharpness of death,
Thou didst open the kingdom of heaven to all believers.
Thou sittest at the right hand of God in the glory of the Father.
We believe that Thou shalt come to be our Judge.
We therefore pray Thee, help Thy servants
whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy precious blood.
Make them to be numbered with Thy saints in glory everlasting.
O Lord, save Thy people and bless Thine heritage.
Govern them and lift them up for ever.
Day by day we magnify thee; And we worship Thy Name ever world without end.
Vouchsafe, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin.
O Lord, let Thy mercy be upon us, for our trust is in Thee.
O Lord, in Thee have I trusted let me never be confounded. - Kyrie and Lord's Prayer, p. 124

Scripture
I Corinthians 1: 18-25 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
