- Psalm 42-43
Soloist: As the deer longs… / Congregation: As the deer longs…
Athirst my soul for you, the God who is my life! When shall I see the face of God?
As the deer longs…
Echoes meet as deep is calling unto deep, over my head all your mighty waters,
sweeping over me. / As the deer longs…
Continually the foe delights in taunting me: "Where is your God?"
Where, O where are you? / As the deer longs…
Defend me God, send forth your light and your truth,
they will lead me to your holy mountain, to your dwelling place. / As the deer longs…
Then I shall go unto the altar of my God. Praising you, O my joy and gladness,
I shall praise your name. / As the deer longs… - Reading: Psalm 42:1, 2 & 11

Scripture
Psalm 42:1, 2 & 11 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? … Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.
