  • Reading: Psalm 90:1-6 & 12-14 View
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. You turn man to destruction, and say, “Return, O children of men.” For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night. You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up: In the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers. ... So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

  • Jesus Priceless Treasure
Jesus, priceless Treasure, Source of purest pleasure, Truest Friend to me! O how long I’ve panted, And my heart hath fainted, Thirsting, Lord, for Thee! Thine I am, O spotless Lamb, I will suffer naught to hide Thee, Naught I ask beside Thee. In Thine arms I rest me; Foes who would molest me Cannot reach me here. Though the earth be shaking, Ev’ry heart be quaking, Jesus calms my fear. Lightnings flash And thunders crash; Yet, though sin and hell assail me, Jesus will not fail me. Hence, all fears and sadness! For the Lord of gladness, Jesus, enters in. They who love the Father, Though the storms may gather, Still have peace within. Yea, whate’er I here must bear, Thou art still my purest Pleasure, Jesus, priceless Treasure!
